The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways announced that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) successfully defended an arbitration case concerning the Chittorgarh-Udaipur section of NH-76 in Rajasthan against concessionaire Uchit Expressway Private Limited. The three-member Arbitral Tribunal under the Society for Affordable Redressal of Disputes (SAROD) rejected the concessionaire's overall claims of Rs. 366.53 crores, including a COVID-19 prolongation cost claim of Rs. 238.18 crore, while awarding NHAI counter-claims amounting to Rs. 33.54 crore. The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Ayush, marked a decade of service by releasing a report documenting patient care, education, and research achievements from October 2016 to September 2026. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken suo motu cognizance of a media report regarding the assault and inhuman treatment of a married woman by her husband and family members in Surendranagar district, Gujarat. The woman, who was living with another man, was reportedly beaten, tied to a tree, and subjected to forced acts after being brought back under the guise of a purification ritual. Observing that the contents raise serious human rights violations, the NHRC issued notices to the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police of Surendranagar, requesting a detailed report within two weeks, including the victim's health status and any compensation paid.

The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) has undertaken Special Campaign 6 from September 16 to October 31, 2026, aimed at institutionalising cleanliness (Swachhata), minimising pendency, and promoting good governance across its constituent units, PSUs, and aided institutions. During the preparatory phase, the Department identified 312 campaign sites, scheduled reviews for 14,003 physical files and 3,408 e-files, targeted the disposal or refurbishment of 4,038 obsolete equipment units, and set targets for resolving various public grievances, parliamentary assurances, and official references.

The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment highlights a case study of substance abuse recovery under the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR). According to Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) data cited in the PIB release, India's female Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR) increased from 23.3% in 2017-18 to 40% in 2025, and the Worker Population Rate (WPR) rose from 22% to 38.8%, with an estimated 20 crore women aged 15 and above employed in 2025.
