The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), under 'Operation Deep Manifest', intercepted around 25,000 kg of Pakistan-origin watermelon seeds at Nhava Sheva Port, falsely declared as UAE-origin muskmelon seeds. Investigations revealed a deliberate transshipment route from Karachi through Jebel Ali Port, Dubai, using container changes and fabricated documents to circumvent India's prohibition on goods originating in or exported from Pakistan.
