Special Campaign 6: Achievements of Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation

The Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation under the Ministry of Jal Shakti is conducting Special Campaign 6 from October 2nd to 31st, 2026, under the aegis of the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances. The campaign focuses on expediting pending matters, reducing pendency, and promoting cleanliness in government offices. A review meeting led by the Secretary of the Department evaluated progress across parameters such as public grievances, PMO references, physical and e-file reviews, and site cleanups. As of October 19, 2026, significant achievements were reported across categories including Cabinet Notes, rules simplification, public grievances, and scrap disposal yielding revenue.
