ICAR-CIRCOT Signs MoU for Technology Transfer of Protective Gloves for Cotton Picking Workers

The ICAR–Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR-CIRCOT), Mumbai, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M/s. Trust ARS Rubber Private Limited on 22 October 2026 for the technology transfer of "Protective Gloves for Cotton Picking Workers." Developed to protect workers against hand injuries from sharp cotton bracts during harvesting, the gloves offer flexibility, comfort, reusability, and durability. The commercialization of this technology aims to improve working conditions, ensure safer harvesting practices, and enhance occupational safety for agricultural labourers in the cotton sector.
