NDRF Academy, Nagpur, operationalises 500 kW solar power plant to promote clean energy

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Academy in Nagpur operationalised a 500 kW solar power plant at its Suradevi campus on October 22, 2026. Completed under the initiative of the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), the project aims to promote clean energy, enhance energy efficiency, and reduce dependence on conventional grid power. The plant's inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from the NDRF Academy, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), and SECI, reflecting coordinated efforts toward sustainable campus operations and renewable energy adoption.
