Delhi Customs officers foil another major smuggling attempt at Air Cargo Complex, New Delhi

Delhi Customs officers at the Air Cargo Complex, New Delhi, seized 23.220 kg of Hydroponic Marijuana (Hydro Weed) valued at approximately ₹8.12 crore (with a street value near ₹23 crore) during an ongoing investigation into narcotics trafficking networks. Acting on intelligence from an earlier bust involving 148.675 kg of ganja from Bangkok, officers intercepted a suspicious import consignment declared as lamps. Examination revealed vacuum-sealed packets concealed within the wooden pallet structure. The operation resulted in one arrest on 22nd October 2026, bringing the total arrests in the ongoing investigation to two, with total narcotics seizures reaching nearly 172 kg.
