The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) is actively implementing Special Campaign 6 for Swachhata, aimed at improving office cleanliness, disposing of scrap and e-waste, weeding out redundant files, freeing up office space, and resolving public grievances and references. Conducted in accordance with DARPG guidelines, the campaign features a preparatory phase and an implementation phase. Key achievements during the first two weeks include cleanliness drives at over 1,200 sites, disposal of scrap, weeding out of more than 14,000 files, freeing up nearly 55,000 square feet of space, and resolving over 13,000 public grievances. Regional field formations have also undertaken specific initiatives such as public cleanliness drives, 'Waste to Art' exhibitions, space optimization like mini-libraries, e-waste management, and green initiatives.

SAEINDIA is scheduled to host the 23rd Asia Pacific Automotive Engineering Conference (APAC 23) from November 13–14, 2026, at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is implementing Special Campaign 6 following guidelines from the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG). Mid-campaign achievements up to October 16, 2026, include conducting cleanliness drives across 397 out of 401 identified sites, disposing of 99 out of 135 public grievances, resolving 9 out of 23 public grievance appeals, and disposing of 7 out of 12 references from Members of Parliament. Additionally, 6,280 physical files and 1,791 e-files were reviewed, resulting in the weeding out of 2,598 physical files and the closing of 949 e-files. These activities freed 61,888 square feet of space and generated ₹8,25,696 in revenue through scrap disposal.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is hosting the 7th edition of the AgriVoltaics World Conference (AWC) 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare is launching the nationwide 'Khet Bachao Abhiyan – Rabi 2026' campaign from 22 October to 30 November 2026, initiated by Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan from Karnal, Haryana. The campaign focuses on promoting sustainable agriculture, improving soil health, and encouraging the judicious use of agricultural resources based on soil testing. The Ministry of Defence has signed a contract worth approximately ₹ 770 crore with M/s Bharat Electronic Limited (BEL) in New Delhi on October 21, 2026, to procure Improved Low Level Light Weight Radars (LLLR-I) for the Indian Army. The SARAS Mela 2026, organised under the Centre's Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), connects rural women entrepreneurs with wider markets, buyers, and business opportunities. The Vijayawada edition in Andhra Pradesh marks the first National SARAS Mela held outside the Delhi-NCR region, featuring around 1,500 women Self-Help Group (SHG) entrepreneurs and Lakhpati Didis from 34 states and Union Territories across more than 650 stalls. The event integrates dedicated thematic pavilions—such as the Lakhpati Didi Pavilion, Learning and Knowledge Pavilion, Convergence Pavilion, and Demonstration Pavilion—along with an India Food Court, cultural showcases, and digital platforms like the eSARAS app to support women-led micro-enterprises and the Lakhpati Didi income-growth initiative.

The Coal Controller Organisation (CCO) under the Ministry of Coal has developed the SUVIKALP Mine Repurposing Tool and the PRISM implementation model to advance scientific mine closure and sustainable repurposing of post-mining land. SUVIKALP evaluates and ranks repurposing projects based on technical, environmental, social, and economic criteria, while PRISM assists with implementation pathways. These initiatives received the SKOCH Gold Award 2026 under Digital Operational Efficiency.
