Goa Holds State-Level Workshop on Leveraging FTAs to Unlock Global Trade Opportunities

The Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce, Government of Goa, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Office of the Additional DGFT, Mumbai, held a State-Level Workshop on Leveraging Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) titled 'Goa to the World – Unlocking Global Trade Opportunities'. The event brought together government officials, export-promotion institutions, and industry stakeholders to explore international market expansion for Goa's products through India's FTAs. Discussions covered preferential market access, Rules of Origin, the Export Promotion Mission, Districts as Export Hubs, and an online demonstration of Trade E-connect. Sector-specific breakout sessions led to the formulation of a comprehensive State Action Plan and plans for District-Level Meetings.
