Department of Science and Technology (DST) intensifies Special Campaign 6 with significant mid-campaign achievements (till 16th October, 2026)

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is implementing Special Campaign 6 following guidelines from the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG). Mid-campaign achievements up to October 16, 2026, include conducting cleanliness drives across 397 out of 401 identified sites, disposing of 99 out of 135 public grievances, resolving 9 out of 23 public grievance appeals, and disposing of 7 out of 12 references from Members of Parliament. Additionally, 6,280 physical files and 1,791 e-files were reviewed, resulting in the weeding out of 2,598 physical files and the closing of 949 e-files. These activities freed 61,888 square feet of space and generated ₹8,25,696 in revenue through scrap disposal.
