The Department of Health & Family Welfare reviewed its mid-campaign progress under Special Campaign 6, conducted from October 2 to October 31, 2026, focusing on institutionalizing Swachhata, minimizing government pendency, and improving administrative efficiency. Led by the Nodal Officer, the campaign involves participation from central government hospitals, institutes, and subordinate offices. Key achievements reported at the mid-campaign stage include organizing 988 cleanliness sites and plantation drives, disposing of 3,993 public grievances and 454 appeals, reviewing over 40,000 physical files (weeding out 6,890) and 7,034 e-files (closing 6,875), and safely disposing of 800 e-waste items.

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), operating under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has facilitated the maiden export of 1.755 metric tonnes of NPOP- and EU-certified organic Palmyra Jaggery Powder from Gobichettipalayam in Erode district, Tamil Nadu, to Varna, Bulgaria. Manufactured and exported by M/s Wellbeing Foods in collaboration with M/s Chetty Exports Private Limited, and imported by M/s Sow Life Ltd, the shipment aims to diversify India's organic export basket, strengthen market linkages, and expand the international footprint of traditional Indian sweeteners. The initiative covers 137 acres of organic cultivation and reports price realizations approximately 15-22% higher for farmers and 17% higher for manufacturers compared to domestic markets.

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways announced that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) successfully defended an arbitration case concerning the Chittorgarh-Udaipur section of NH-76 in Rajasthan against concessionaire Uchit Expressway Private Limited. The three-member Arbitral Tribunal under the Society for Affordable Redressal of Disputes (SAROD) rejected the concessionaire's overall claims of Rs. 366.53 crores, including a COVID-19 prolongation cost claim of Rs. 238.18 crore, while awarding NHAI counter-claims amounting to Rs. 33.54 crore. The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Ayush, marked a decade of service by releasing a report documenting patient care, education, and research achievements from October 2016 to September 2026. Across its main campus in Sarita Vihar and various satellite and outreach centres—including those in Goa, Safdarjung Hospital, UPSC Building, Jhajjar, Mussoorie, and Kevadia—the institute treated a total of 37,74,524 patients. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken suo motu cognizance of a media report regarding the assault and inhuman treatment of a married woman by her husband and family members in Surendranagar district, Gujarat. The woman, who was living with another man, was reportedly beaten, tied to a tree, and subjected to forced acts after being brought back under the guise of a purification ritual. Observing that the contents raise serious human rights violations, the NHRC issued notices to the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police of Surendranagar, requesting a detailed report within two weeks, including the victim's health status and any compensation paid.

During the preparatory phase, the Department identified 312 campaign sites, scheduled reviews for 14,003 physical files and 3,408 e-files, targeted the disposal or refurbishment of 4,038 obsolete equipment units, and set targets for resolving various public grievances, parliamentary assurances, and official references.
