DGR Job Fair in Nagpur Offers Over 1,300 Employment Opportunities for Ex-Servicemen

The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, organized an Ex-Servicemen Job Fair in Nagpur on October 16, 2026. The event connected more than 480 ex-servicemen with 42 national and multinational companies offering over 1,300 employment opportunities across diverse sectors. Prominent recruiters included Solar Group, Delhivery, Eros Group, Haldiram, JSR Dynamics, and SBI Life. The initiative aims to facilitate second careers, promote skill development, and strengthen the industry-veteran employment ecosystem, thereby supporting the transition of retired armed forces personnel into civilian employment.
