The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) reviewed its cleanliness initiatives and file disposal status under Special Campaign 6.0 at Atal Akshaya Urja Bhawan, New Delhi. Officials inspected office sections to assess space utilisation, maintenance, and cleanliness. The review emphasized regular monitoring, timely file processing, expeditious clearance of pending cases, efficient file management, and staff participation to reduce pendency and promote institutionalised Swachhata in government offices.

Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) under the Ministry of Coal have reported significant milestones under Special Campaign 6. The initiative involved cleaning 1,696 sites covering an area of 130.16 lakh square feet and disposing of 16,158 Metric Tons of scrap, generating approximately ₹53.94 crore in revenue for the exchequer. Additionally, administrative efficiency was addressed through the review of 78,635 physical and e-files, resulting in the weeding out and closure of 70,093 files. Prominent initiatives included e-waste collection bins made from recycled scrap, canteen modernization, tribal girls' education support, waste-to-wonder workshops, and the promotion of workplace menstrual hygiene.

The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is promoting 'The AABHAR Collection', a digital storefront highlighting curated gift items, hampers, and products tied to the One District, One Product (ODOP) initiative and Geographical Indication (GI) tags. Launched in July 2024, the collection features 294 product catalogue listings from 10 State and Central Handloom and Handicraft Emporiums, with seven additional organisations undergoing onboarding. The initiative aims to provide market linkage for local artisans, weavers, rural entrepreneurs, and women-led enterprises by integrating them into the public procurement system, enabling government buyers to source indigenous items for official ceremonies, conferences, and events.

Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh inaugurated the Curtain Raiser for the Mechanisation Technology Seminar 2.0 (MTS 2.0) at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi. Organised by the Western Command in collaboration with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), the main seminar themed 'CHAKRA – Transforming Existing Platforms for Future Combat' is scheduled for December 14–15, 2026, at Chandimandir Military Station. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reviewed the progress of Special Campaign 6, aimed at institutionalising cleanliness and minimizing pendency in government offices, alongside preparations for dedicated Kayakalp activities scheduled for 27 October 2026. Chaired by the Union Health Secretary, the review meeting emphasized visible and sustainable improvements in sanitation, hygiene, space management, and biomedical waste management across central health institutions. Officials reported 100 per cent cleaning of identified sites, resolution of public grievance appeals, and revenue generation through scrap disposal and e-auctions. Institutions also shared innovative practices such as digitizing medical records, developing green spaces, and implementing QR code-enabled feedback mechanisms.

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) and its organisations are actively implementing Special Campaign 6 to promote Swachhata, digital transformation, and good governance. The campaign focuses on e-waste and scrap disposal, records management, space optimisation, and grievance redressal. Achievements reported include conducting 173 cleanliness campaigns, reviewing 33,199 files (with 9,808 closed or weeded out), generating Rs. 9.79 crores from scrap and e-waste disposal, and freeing 88,171 sq. ft. of space. Notable initiatives include the transformation of Kumartuli Ghat by Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, in collaboration with Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd.

Officers and officials of the Legislative Department and the Department of Legal Affairs under the Ministry of Law and Justice took the Integrity Pledge at Kartavya Bhawan-2 in New Delhi to mark Vigilance Awareness Week 2026. The pledge was administered by Dr. Manoj Kumar, Additional Secretary of the Legislative Department. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released the findings of an Independent Drive Test (IDT) conducted in August 2026 across Vijayanagara District in the Karnataka Licensed Service Area (LSA). The tests evaluated real-time mobile network quality, covering voice and data services provided by major Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) across cities, hotspots, and highway routes. Key Quality of Service parameters assessed include coverage gaps, call drop rates, call setup success rates, call silence instances, and data download and upload throughput. The report findings were shared with the respective TSPs for necessary action.

The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), under the Ministry of Ayush, inaugurated a five-day national workshop on the "Patanjala Yoga Sutra: Vibhuti Pada (In the Light of Vyasa Bhashya)" scheduled from October 26 to 30, 2026. The workshop aims to explore Vibhuti Pada—the third chapter of the Patanjala Yoga Sutra covering advanced dimensions of Yogic practice such as Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi, and Siddhis—through a systematic study of classical texts and traditional commentary.

The Principal Controller of Communication Accounts, Department of Telecom, has released a schedule for Telecom Pensioners Jeevan Praman Camps across Delhi NCR for November 2026. These camps are organized to facilitate telecom pensioners with on-the-spot verification of life certificates, training for digital life certificate submission via the Jeevan Praman portal and Face Authentication app, KYP form submission, and grievance and query resolution at various MTNL and BSNL locations.

The Department of Posts is organizing a Divisional Level Pension and Dak Adalat in Goa on 4th November 2026 at the Office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Goa Division, Panaji. The Adalats are intended to address pending grievances of pensioners and the public regarding postal services, specifically targeting complaints that have remained unanswered for over six weeks. Eligible applicants must submit representations with supporting documents by 2nd November 2026.

Akashvani is organizing the 67th edition of the annual Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Memorial Lecture series on 27 October 2026 at the Rang Bhawan Auditorium in New Delhi. The lecture is to be delivered by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The annual lecture series has been organized by Akashvani since 1955 to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and the recorded lecture is scheduled to be broadcast nationwide across the Akashvani network on Patel's birth anniversary, 31 October.
