Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Annpurna Devi, participated in the 'Khelo India Samvad' programme at Grizzly College of Education, Jhumri Telaiya, Koderma, Jharkhand. During the event, she listened to the virtual address of the Prime Minister. The nationwide dialogue was organized by MY Bharat and witnessed the participation of over 10 lakh youth, including players, Olympians, and medal winners. Goa joins ‘Khelo India Dialogue’ as PM Modi interacts with youth
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organised the national programme 'Khelo India Dialogue – Khel Ki Baat, PM Modi Ke Saath' across more than 1,500 locations, connecting youth, sportspersons, NSS volunteers, and educational institutions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In Goa, MY Bharat Goa and NSS Goa State organised events at multiple colleges, attended by dignitaries including the Chief Minister of Goa, Union Minister of State Shri Shripad Naik, and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sadanand Shet Tanavade. Discussions focused on sports, physical fitness, discipline, youth roles in nation-building, and the Viksit Bharat vision. Tecnam P2006T twin-engine aircraft meets with accident near Ganga Barrage in Kanpur
A Tecnam P2006T twin-engine aircraft (registration VT-NBV), operated by M/s Garg Aviation Ltd. and on a training flight with two persons on board, met with an accident near Ganga Barrage, approximately 5 NM from Kanpur Civil Airport. Both the trainee pilot and the instructor sustained fatal injuries. A team of three officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is proceeding to the site, and the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has been informed to conduct a detailed investigation.

NHAI to Undertake Immediate Structural Repairs of Vaitarna Major Bridge on NH-48
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) announced the immediate structural repair of the Vaitarna Major Bridge (middle bridge) on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Highway (NH-48) in Maharashtra, which was constructed in 1965. Identified during a routine bridge inspection on August 27, 2026, the repair work is undertaken as a precautionary measure for road-user safety and is expected to take approximately one month. Consequently, the temporary closure of the bridge has been implemented to manage traffic movement during the repair period.

The recognition is for the category of Ministries/Departments with less than 300 personnel, acknowledging its continuous performance in implementing the Official Language. The Department previously received the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar (First) for 2023-24 and 2024-25. Because rules preclude subsequent awards after two consecutive first prizes, this special 'Rajbhasha Utkrishtta Sammaan' was created to recognize its consistent work. The award will be presented at the Hindi Diwas Sammelan in Navi Mumbai on September 14, 2026.
