This paperless mechanism is expected to speed up EODC processing, reduce transaction costs and documentation, improve data accuracy, and lessen the compliance burden, especially for MSME exporters. The change is part of the government’s broader digital‑trade‑facilitation agenda aimed at ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’.

The Jiyo Parsi Scheme, launched in 2013 by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, provides financial assistance for infertility treatment, childbearing, childbirth and post‑natal care (Medical component) to the Parsi community. Since 2018‑19, 1,055 beneficiaries have received aid under the Health of Community component, with a cumulative expenditure of Rs 37.43 crore. The scheme has recorded 534 births since 2014‑15, which the Union Minister noted as a step towards stabilising the community’s declining population. The Ministry of Minority Affairs’ earlier ‘Leadership Development of Minority Women (Nai Roshni)’ scheme, which aimed to build confidence and awareness of rights among minority women through knowledge of government systems, banks and institutions, has been merged into the integrated umbrella scheme PM VIKAS (Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan). The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued a Direction to allocate 1601‑series numbers for service and transactional voice calls by entities in sectors other than Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) and Government. Phase‑I targets utilities (electricity, water, city gas, LPG) and logistics/courier services, with Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) required to verify eligibility and complete onboarding within 90 days. Ltd. to fund the manufacturing and commercialisation of ‘GrivaVision’, an indigenously developed portable digital colposcope that uses AI‑assisted software for early detection of cervical pre‑cancerous lesions. The project will set up production at Kollam, Kerala, and aims to make screening more accessible and affordable in primary and community health settings. GrivaVision complies with WHO‑approved Automated Visual Evaluation standards, is ABDM‑compatible, holds a CDSCO Class B licence, and incorporates over 50 % locally sourced components, thereby strengthening India’s domestic medical‑device value chain and reducing reliance on imports.

APEDA facilitated the first‑ever export of 1 Metric Tonne of mustard honey by the Dergang Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) from Tripura to Dubai. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) is implementing GIS‑based urban planning under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) and AMRUT 2.0. The Department of Health Research‑Indian Council of Medical Research (DHR‑ICMR) will organise the second edition of S.H.I.N.E. (Science, Health and Innovation for NextGen Explorers) on 11–12 August 2026. The Ministry of Jal Shakti’s status note on the National Rivers Interlinking Programme (NRIP) outlines that 30 interlinking projects (16 Peninsular, 14 Himalayan) have been identified under the National Perspective Plan. The National Water Development Agency is responsible for implementation. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship reported that PMKVY 4.0, a demand‑driven scheme, has released ₹2,392.37 crore for implementation from FY 2022‑23 through FY 2026‑27. Under the scheme, more than 600 new‑age and futuristic courses (AI, Robotics, IoT, Semiconductor, Drone, Solar, 3D Printing, etc.) have been introduced and, as of 30 June 2026, about 5.44 lakh candidates have been trained in these areas. The scheme is inclusive, providing special projects for SC/ST/Women/PwD, boarding‑and‑lodging, transport costs, ₹5,000 assistive‑device support and one‑year accidental insurance. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), via NCVET, DGT and under PMKVY 4.0, has launched AI‑based training programmes. 116 NSQF‑aligned qualifications covering AI domains such as Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Robotics and AI Ethics are in place. Under PMKVY 4.0, 53,449 candidates were trained/oriented and 25,466 certified in AI‑related job roles as of 30 June 2026. The DGT introduced the Artificial Intelligence Programming Assistant course and a 240‑hour Generative AI course for ITI trainees, revising the Employability Skills curriculum to include AI and Green Skills. The SOAR initiative offers 50 AI‑focused NSQF courses online, with 496,426 learners enrolled and 98,576 certified by 22 July 2026.
