The Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare is conducting the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5 from November 1 to 30, 2026, across 2,000 districts and cities in India. Billed as the largest-ever DLC campaign, it adopts a saturation model targeting 2.30 crore DLCs, including 1.50 crore via Face Authentication technology. The month-long initiative follows a whole-of-government approach involving multiple ministries, banks, India Post, UIDAI, MeitY, and welfare associations. It features doorstep services, health check-ups, Aadhaar updation, and grievance redressal to ease digital empowerment for elderly pensioners.
