TRAI assesses Mobile Network Quality across Leh and Nearby Areas Route under J&K LSA, during the month of August 2026

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released findings from an Independent Drive Test conducted across Leh and nearby areas under the Jammu and Kashmir Licensing Service Area in August 2026. The testing evaluated real-time quality of mobile network services, including voice and data provided by major Telecom Service Providers. Key quality of service parameters such as coverage gaps, call drop rates, call setup success rates, call silence instances, and data download and upload throughputs were assessed across city routes, highways, hotspots, and pedestrian walk tests. The initiative aims to inform consumers and encourage telecom providers to improve service performance.
