TRAI released findings of Independent Drive Test (IDT) conducted across Adoni - Mantralayam and Hyderabad nearby areas, during the month of September 2026

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released findings from Independent Drive Tests (IDT) conducted across Adoni-Mantralayam and Hyderabad nearby areas during September 2026 under the Andhra Pradesh License Service Area (LSA). The tests assess real-time mobile network quality, including voice and data services provided by various Telecom Service Providers (TSPs). Key Quality of Service parameters such as Coverage Gaps, Call Drop Rate, Call Setup Success Rate, Call Silence Instances, and Data Download and Upload Throughputs were monitored using advanced software and test handsets across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. The findings have been shared with the respective TSPs for necessary action.
