Text of PM's speech at the launch of development projects in Banaskantha, Gujarat

The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development projects in Banaskantha, Gujarat, marking 25 years since assuming public office in 2001. During the event, financial installments under the PM-Kisan scheme were disbursed to farmers nationwide, and agricultural, dairy, and infrastructure initiatives were highlighted. Key measures mentioned include support for fertilizer pricing amidst global uncertainties, the distribution of Soil Health Cards, promotion of solar pumps via the PM-Kusum scheme, and advancements in animal husbandry such as national breed conservation centers, IVF technology for cattle, and free vaccination drives against foot-and-mouth disease. Additionally, new transport links like express and MEMU trains, metro extensions, and infrastructure projects including bio-CNG plants and modern Anganwadis were launched, alongside appeals for participation in the National Unity Day 'Run for Unity' events.
