Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal Meets H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal met H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein during his State Visit to India on 28 October 2026. The discussions centered on strengthening economic engagement and investment opportunities under the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), which entered into force on 1 October 2025. Shri Goyal highlighted India's economic fundamentals, rising FDI inflows, and a growing startup ecosystem, while noting that the India-EFTA TEPA aims to increase FDI into India by USD 100 billion over 15 years and create one million direct jobs. Both sides also explored industrial cooperation in precision engineering, advanced manufacturing, and innovation.
