Union Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal’s Netherlands Visit Strengthens India-Netherlands Trade and Investment Partnership

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal completed a two-day official visit to the Netherlands, aimed at strengthening the India-Netherlands trade and investment partnership. Accompanied by a business delegation, the Minister engaged with Dutch government leaders, parliamentarians, and business executives. Key highlights of the visit included a tour of the Port of Rotterdam, co-chairing the India-Netherlands Business Forum, and holding bilateral talks covering manufacturing, clean energy, advanced technologies, semiconductors, and green hydrogen. The engagements emphasized leveraging the India-EU Free Trade Agreement and the elevated Strategic Partnership to enhance bilateral economic cooperation, resilient supply chains, and opportunities for Dutch firms to co-manufacture and co-innovate in India.
