BRO Celebrates Project ARUNANK’S 19th Raising Day in Arunachal Pradesh

Project Arunank of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) celebrated its 19th Raising Day at Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh. Raised in 2008, the project has developed and maintained border infrastructure in rugged terrains to enhance the operational preparedness of the Armed Forces and improve connectivity for remote communities. The project utilizes modern technologies, alternative construction materials, geocells, and slope-protection measures. It also undertakes workforce welfare initiatives for Casual Paid Labourers and community and environmental activities, including planting 25,815 trees under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign.
