Indian Railways to Recruit 1,265 Station Masters Nationwide

The Ministry of Railways has initiated a recruitment drive for 1,265 Station Masters under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 08/2026. The application process is open to graduates, with an application deadline of 25 November 2026. According to the Ministry, the Railway Board has decided to notify Station Master recruitment separately starting from 2026 to provide a dedicated process for eligibility, examination procedures, and vacancy distribution. Among the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), Mumbai reports the highest number of vacancies at 177, followed by Jammu-Srinagar (122) and Chennai (119).
