Shram Samvad - Two-Day State-Level Capacity-Building and Awareness Programme on Labour Codes, Labour Welfare and Social Protection Concludes in Lucknow

The Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, along with the Labour Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, jointly organized a two-day state-level capacity-building and awareness programme titled "Shram Samvad" in Lucknow. The event focused on the implementation of new Labour Codes, labour welfare, and social protection measures. It convened senior officials, employers, industry representatives, and legal, HR, and finance professionals to discuss labour reforms, digital service delivery platforms like e-Shram and the Shram Suvidha Portal, unorganized and gig worker coverage, compliance requirements under the four Labour Codes, and welfare schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana.
