Ministry of Textiles Highlights Significant Achievements of Central Silk Board under Special Campaign 6

The Ministry of Textiles highlighted the achievements of the Central Silk Board under Special Campaign 6, aimed at promoting cleanliness, improving workplace efficiency, reducing pendency, and ensuring resource management. Key activities undertaken by the Board include workplace cleanliness and facility improvements such as deep-cleaning, washroom renovation, and campus maintenance. The campaign also focused on record management and space optimization, segregation and disposal of e-waste and scrap items—including 75 obsolete IT and telecommunication equipment items—and promoting environmental sustainability through the 4Rs (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle). Additionally, the Board conducted Safai Mitra Samman Shivir activities, health check-ups, and public outreach via social media platforms to foster good governance and sustainable resource management.
