ECL surpasses cleanliness targets, eyes higher milestones under Special Campaign-6

Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited under the Ministry of Coal, reported its progress under Special Campaign 6 for the period of October 2–25. According to the report, ECL surpassed several targets, achieving 107 per cent of its site cleanliness target by completing 32 sites, reclaiming approximately 3.98 lakh square feet of space (192% of its area target), and generating Rs 2.3 crore through the disposal of 466 metric tonnes of scrap. Additionally, the company reviewed and weeded out physical and electronic files to reduce administrative pendency and improve records management.
