MoPNG Makes Significant Progress under Special Campaign 6 for Swachhata and Disposal of Pending Matters

The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG), along with its Central Public Sector Enterprises and organisations, has reported significant progress under Special Campaign 6 for Swachhata and the disposal of pending matters. Guided by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the campaign focuses on cleanliness, efficient records management, disposal of scrap and e-waste, and prompt grievance redressal. As of October 25, 2026, the Ministry completed the review of all 5,593 physical files and 712 e-files, achieved 100% completion in disposing of 500 public grievance appeals, conducted cleanliness activities at 126 sites, freed 2.22 lakh square feet of space, generated ₹34.64 crore in revenue, and addressed 6,006 public grievances.
