INS TRISHUL ARRIVES AT CIVITAVECCHIA, ITALY

Indian Naval Ship (INS) Trishul arrived at Civitavecchia, Italy, on October 25, 2026, as part of its ongoing operational deployment to the Mediterranean Sea. Prior to entering the harbor, the ship participated in a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with the Italian Naval Ship Carlo Margottini, which included coordinated maneuvering drills, communication procedures, replenishment approaches, cross-deck landings, personnel transfers, and boarding operations. The port call and exercises are aimed at enhancing operational synergy, sharing best practices, and reinforcing the maritime partnership between India and Italy.
