Union Minister Piyush Goyal Holds Trade and Investment Talks in the Netherlands

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal began a visit to the Netherlands on October 25, 2026, aimed at strengthening India-Netherlands economic ties and exploring trade and investment opportunities. During his visit, he toured the Port of Rotterdam—Europe's largest port—alongside CEO Mr. Boudewijn Siemons, highlighting its strategic significance as a gateway for Indian goods into the European market and its role in international trade and global supply chains. The visit also underscored the potential of the Netherlands' logistics infrastructure in the context of the India-EU Free Trade Agreement. Additionally, the Minister interacted with the Indian diaspora and business representatives in Amsterdam, hosted by the Embassy of India.
