Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal Holds High-Level Economic Engagements in Berlin to Strengthen India–Germany Trade and Investment Ties

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal conducted high-level engagements in Berlin, Germany, on October 22nd to enhance trade, investment, and industrial cooperation between India and Germany. Key events included a bilateral meeting with German Federal Minister Katherina Reiche, where discussions covered industrial collaboration and the prospective India–EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Both ministers co-chaired an India–Germany Business Roundtable, co-inaugurated the India Centre at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), and engaged with industry leaders. Shri Goyal also participated in the Berlin Global Dialogue, emphasizing trust, economic complementarity, and resilient supply chains, alongside holding individual meetings with major German corporate executives.
