ICAR-CCARI Goa holds awareness programmes on natural, organic farming as part of ‘Khet Bachao Abhiyan’

The ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-CCARI) in Goa conducted awareness programmes on natural and organic farming at Divar village and its institute premises as part of the Khet Bachao Programme. The sessions focused on sustainable agriculture, soil health, reducing chemical input dependence, and utilising locally available resources, organic manures, and biological inputs. The events engaged farmers from Divar and Bali villages along with Goa University students to discuss practical approaches for adopting natural and organic farming systems suited to Goa's agro-climatic conditions.
