NAAS Showcases India’s Agricultural Excellence at World Food Prize Foundation Symposium 2026; Indian Student Wins Global Youth Institute Award

The National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), New Delhi, showcased India's agricultural research excellence at the World Food Prize Foundation's 2026 Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. The event featured an exhibition booth displaying publications of NAAS and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), a roundtable on Agricultural Higher Education, and the participation of Indian high school students selected through the NAAS-YUVA drive at the Global Youth Institute (GYI), where an Indian student won an award. Additionally, an MoU was signed between NAAS and the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST), USA, to strengthen international cooperation and knowledge exchange in agricultural research and capacity development.
