Special Campaign 6 -one day activity in respect of Ministry of Statistics & PI

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) and its subordinate offices organized a dedicated One-Day Cleanliness Drive on 7th October 2026 as part of Special Campaign 6. The initiative focused on workplace cleanliness, waste management, environmental sustainability, and efficient office space utilization. Comprehensive activities were conducted at multiple sites by MoSPI divisions including the Field Operations Division, Household Survey Division, Enterprise Survey Division, National Statistical Systems Training Academy, Data Informatics & Innovation Division, and the Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata. Actions included cleanliness drives, tree plantation, bio-waste segregation, solar panel cleaning, e-waste categorization for e-auction, and recognizing the contributions of sanitation workers.
