Armed Forces Headquarters Association (AFHQ) appreciates timely promotions under PM Narendra Modi’s Leadership; Discusses employee issues with Dr Jitendra Singh

A delegation of the Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ) Association, affiliated with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and GENC, met with Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh to discuss service-related matters. The association expressed appreciation for timely promotions under the Department of Personnel and Training. The discussions focused on issues concerning the Section Officer cadre, low candidate joining rates against UPSC-projected vacancies between 2018 and 2024, promotional avenues, and compassionate appointments for eligible dependents of deceased employees, including the 5 percent quota and assessment criteria. The Minister assured that these matters would be examined through appropriate administrative channels.
