Significant progress during implementation phase of Special Campaign 6 in DSIR

The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), under the Ministry of Science and Technology, is implementing Special Campaign 6 starting October 2, 2026. The campaign focuses on institutionalizing Swachhata, reducing pendency, managing e-waste, efficient record management, and creating clean workspaces. Progress achieved under the campaign includes reviewing 7,781 out of 9,805 physical files, weeding out 1,448 files, achieving 100% targets in reviewing e-files and easing rules, and 95% disposal of pending public grievances. Cleanliness campaigns were conducted at 95 out of 150 target sites, generating a revenue of Rs. 12,08,047 and freeing up 2,980 square feet of space.
