Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Successfully Completes Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 Campaign

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), along with its CPSEs and attached offices, successfully completed the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 Campaign, held from 17th September to 2nd October, 2026. The campaign commenced with a pledge-taking ceremony administered by the Secretary (PNG) at Kartavya Bhawan-3, New Delhi, and featured regular progress reviews. Key achievements reported under the campaign include the transformation of 9,845 Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs), cleaning of 937 public spaces, 143 water body cleanliness drives, 543 mohalla cleanliness drives, engagement of 18,700 schoolchildren through Swachh Pathshala activities, organisation of 234 Safai Mitra Suraksha Evam Samman Shivirs for sanitation workers including 276 preventive health check-ups and distribution of 3,518 PPE kits, various Jan Bhagidari initiatives, and waste-to-wealth activities under Swachhata Se Samriddhi.
