DoPT Launches Special Campaign 6 with Swachhata Pledge, Cleanliness Drive and Tree Plantation on Swachh Bharat Diwas; Focus on Swachhata, Disposal of Pendencies, Records Management and E-Waste

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has launched the Implementation Phase of Special Campaign 6 following the completion of its Preparatory Phase on Swachh Bharat Diwas. Coordinated nationally by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the campaign runs until October 31, 2026. It focuses on strengthening Swachhata, efficient disposal of pendencies including VIP references and public grievances, comprehensive records management, and the proper collection, segregation, and disposal of e-waste in accordance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022. The initiative also emphasizes digital governance, workspace optimization, and capacity building via the iGOT Karmayogi portal.
