IAF CONDUCTS SHORT-NOTICE CASUALTY EVACUATION FROM LEH

The Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted a short-notice casualty evacuation mission using a C-130J aircraft, airlifting a critically ill 30-year-old civilian patient from Leh to Palam at night under challenging weather conditions. The patient was transferred to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for further medical care. According to the Ministry of Defence, the mission demonstrates the IAF's operational readiness and responsiveness to critical humanitarian requirements.
