NCRTC Celebrates Namo Bharat Diwas 2026, Marking Three Successful Years of Namo Bharat Operations

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) celebrated 'Namo Bharat Diwas 2026', marking three years of Namo Bharat operations. The event was attended by Union Ministers and senior officials. Key milestones highlighted included the operations along the 82-km Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut corridor inaugurated by the Prime Minister, which has recorded over 4.5 crore passenger journeys since October 2023. Additionally, initiatives like Solar on Track, a 110 MW captive solar power plant, and multimodal integration were noted to promote environmental and financial sustainability. Future plans include upcoming priority corridors such as Delhi-Panipat-Karnal and Delhi-Gurugram-Behror, alongside corridors currently in the Detailed Project Report (DPR) stage.
