CAQM reviews Compliance Status and Enforcement Actions across NCR; 124 inspections conducted from 25.09.2026 to 09.10.2026

The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) reviewed compliance status, inspection findings, and enforcement actions across the National Capital Region (NCR) during the 141st meeting of its Enforcement Task Force. Between September 25 and October 9, 2026, 124 inspections were conducted across construction and demolition sites, industrial sectors, and diesel generator sets, leading to 55 reported violations and various proposed enforcement actions such as closures, sealing, and Environmental Compensation. The ETF also evaluated cumulative enforcement figures, resumption orders, and directed Flying Squads to prioritize Red and Orange category industries, particularly those with furnaces and boilers, to mitigate air pollution.
