DARE/ ICAR raises awareness of cleanliness in Swachhata Special Campaign 6

Under Swachhata Special Campaign 6, DARE and ICAR are actively engaged in raising hygiene and cleanliness awareness among students and staff to foster civic duties and a healthy society. Various institutes under the network have undertaken specific initiatives. The ICAR Research Complex for Eastern Region in Patna, Bihar, enhanced premises appearance, weeded out unwanted vegetation, and cleared waste to maintain an environmentally friendly atmosphere. The ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute in Goa carried out record management by weeding physical vouchers and identified scrap material such as metal items, MCB panels, fencing wires, and plastic items for disposal. Additionally, the ICAR-Mahatma Gandhi Integrated Farming Research Institute in Motihari, Bihar, focused on maintaining plantation areas, weed management, and litter clearance.
