Defence Accounts Department Organises Shramdaan under ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ Campaign

The Defence Accounts Department organized a nationwide Shramdaan under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2026' campaign, featuring field office participation in a two-week Swachhata Pakhwada and planting over 25,000 trees under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative. The campaign concluded with a cleanliness drive and sapling plantation at MCD Primary School in Dwarka, New Delhi, led by Controller General of Defence Accounts Smt Alka Nangia Arora. Under Special Swachhata Campaign 6.0, the CGDA Headquarters also undertook tree plantation, file weeding, e-file closure, and scrap and e-waste disposal initiatives.
