TISS and Uttar Pradesh Police Training Directorate join hands to strengthen Police Training under Saksham Policing

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and the Uttar Pradesh Police Training Directorate have collaborated to launch a five-day Skill-Based Capacity Building Programme for Master Trainers under the Saksham Policing initiative, running from October 13 to 17, 2026. The programme is designed to enhance the professional capabilities of police trainers, fostering a citizen-centric, sensitive, and effective policing framework guided by the philosophy of "सेवाभावी अनुशासन" (discipline rooted in service). It covers behavioural competence, gender and social sensitivity, operational soft skills, and professional readiness through instructional practice, role plays, and case studies.
