Foreign Minister of Canada calls on Prime Minister

The Foreign Minister of Canada, H.E. Ms. Anita Anand, called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral ties. Both leaders covered cooperation across key sectors including trade, science and technology, defence, security, energy, education, people-to-people ties, and multilateral cooperation. Prime Minister Modi emphasized translating bilateral momentum into tangible outcomes through the early conclusion of negotiations on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). They also exchanged views on regional and global developments, and the Prime Minister conveyed warm greetings to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
