Legislative Department Organises Workshop on Record Management under Special Campaign 6.

The Legislative Department under the Ministry of Law and Justice organised a workshop on record management on October 13, 2026, at Kartavya Bhawan 2, New Delhi, as part of 'Special Campaign 6'. Led by Shri G. Panmei and guided by Secretary Dr. Rajiv Mani, the event included officers and staff from the Department and its attached offices like the Official Languages Wing and Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan. Shri Ranjan Kumar served as the resource person, highlighting the significance of systematic file maintenance, indexing, record retention schedules, and the weeding out of obsolete files to promote administrative efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
