Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh held a bilateral meeting with UK Secretary of State Dame Angela Eagle in New Delhi to strengthen cooperation in animal health, sustainable livestock production, scientific research, genomics, advanced reproductive technologies, and capacity-building. The discussions explored opportunities under the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) regarding market access and regulatory issues for livestock, dairy, marine, and animal-origin products. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation, trade, and sustainable growth in the animal husbandry and allied sectors.
