Citizen Centric Pan-India Rail Jan Samvaad to Be Held at All Stations on 22.10.2026

The Ministry of Railways is implementing the Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters 6 (SCDPM-6) from October 2 to October 31, 2026. A high-level review meeting chaired by the Secretary of the Railway Board evaluated progress across zonal railways and production units. The campaign targets cleaning 100,000 sites, freeing 700,000 square feet of space, and generating ₹600 crore from scrap and e-waste disposal. Emphasis is placed on e-waste management, solid waste segregation, and waste-to-wonder initiatives. Additionally, a pan-India Citizen Centric Rail Jan Samvaad, including youth-focused participation platforms, is scheduled to be held at all stations on October 22, 2026.
