India–UK Bilateral Talks Explore Expanded Cooperation in Space, Civil Nuclear Energy and Emerging Technologies: Dr. Jitendra Singh

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh held bilateral talks with UK Secretary of State Mr. Jonathan Reynolds to discuss expanded cooperation in space, civil nuclear energy, scientific research, and emerging technologies. The talks highlighted India's space-sector reforms and proposed greater connectivity between space-technology startups in both countries. Discussions on civil nuclear energy covered nuclear-sector reforms including the SHANTI Act, 2025, small modular reactors (SMRs), advanced nuclear technologies, and nuclear medicine applications. Both sides also explored collaboration in artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, cyber-physical systems, cybersecurity, advanced sensors, and biomedical research.
