Dr. Jitendra Singh and UK Minister Jonathan Reynolds Advance India–UK Science and Innovation Cooperation at 8th Council Meeting

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and UK Secretary of State Jonathan Reynolds co-chaired the 8th India–UK Science and Innovation Council (SIC) Meeting in New Delhi. The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation in science and innovation, focusing on research partnerships, emerging technologies, and translating scientific research into practical applications. On this occasion, the leaders jointly inaugurated the BRIC-CDFD–ONT India Genomics Centre of Excellence. Discussions covered industry-led research, technology commercialisation, and joint projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, net-zero technologies, climate science, healthcare, and agriculture.
