DARE-ICAR Continues Cleanliness Campaigns Across Institutes Nationwide to Promote Swachhata and Sustainable Practices

The Department of Agricultural Research and Education - Indian Council of Agricultural Research (DARE-ICAR) is conducting nationwide indoor and outdoor cleanliness campaigns across its institutes and campuses. The initiatives aim to propagate the value of swachhata, promote sustainable practices, and encourage citizen-centric and environment-friendly habits. Various units have undertaken activities centered on the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, including Waste to Art, Kabaad Se Jugaad, plastic-free initiatives, and creative utilization of waste materials. The campaigns involve the removal of non-degradable plastic waste, garbage, and unwanted weeds to improve campus appearances while sensitizing participants to responsible waste management and sustainable cleanliness.
