TRAI assesses Mobile Network quality across New Delhi and Central Delhi route under Delhi LSA during August, 2026

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released the findings of an Independent Drive Test conducted across the New Delhi and Central Delhi route under the Delhi License Service Area during August 2026. The testing aimed to evaluate real-time voice and data quality of mobile network services provided by various Telecom Service Providers. The parameters assessed included coverage gaps, call drop rates, call setup success rates, call silence instances, and data download and upload throughputs across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks using multiple test handsets and software systems.
